A teenage boy has died following a devastating house fire in NSW. A property went up in flames on Alikra Avenue at Cessnock, in the Hunter Valley region, at 10pm on Sunday. Emergency services were called to the scene where a 16-year-old boy was found injured at the scene. NSW Police revealed on Monday morning

A teenage boy has died following a devastating house fire in NSW.

A property went up in flames on Alikra Avenue at Cessnock, in the Hunter Valley region, at 10pm on Sunday.

Emergency services were called to the scene where a 16-year-old boy was found injured at the scene.

NSW Police revealed on Monday morning the teenager had died.

An investigation has been launched with the cause of the fire not being treated as suspicious.
