An autistic woman was devastated after a server dumped an ingredient into her cocktail without asking.

Nayeli, 28, revealed that a server ruined her experience in trying the Aussie Jawssie at Outback Steakhouse in a recent TikTok  video.

Nayeli, who has AuDHD and an interest in sharks, was excited to pour grenadine over her cocktail like the other customers who ordered the same drink.

‘It happened so fast and I didn’t plan on it. I had been anticipating this experience for a long while just to have it gone in an instant,’ the TikToker wrote.

Nayeli held back her emotions while drinking her Aussie Jawssie but began to cry after she couldn’t hold back her tears.

please no negative comments 💖 i’m autistic and sharks are one of my special interests, this is a popular experience i saw people doing last year and i unfortunately wasn’t able to go before. but this year my dad & step mom took me & i was so so excited!! while waiting for my drink i kept getting more excited as i watched people in tables around me order & receive their shark drinks and pour the “blood” into their drinks on their own. when my drink came, the server poured the “blood” for me without asking. it happened so fast and i didn’t plan on it. it was literally devastating for me, i had been anticipating this experience for a long while just to have it gone in an instant. i tried holding back my tears as long as i could because i didn’t want to make a scene or hurt the server’s feelings but it didn’t last long. i eventually cried & daniel & my parents were supportive. i love them and my daniel, & i feel very lucky to have them in my life 💖🦈 . #sharkdrink #aussiejawssie #latediagnosedautistic #autisticadult #audhd #sharks

Nayeli revealed in the July 16 video that she was interested in trying the cocktail since it was featured on the restaurant chain’s limited-edition menu last year.

She was disappointed not to try it then, but her father and stepmother took her to an Outback Steakhouse after the drink was put back on the menu.

‘While waiting for my drink, I kept getting more excited as I watched people at tables around me order and receive their shark drinks and pour the “blood” into their drinks on their own,’ she wrote.

Her partner Daniel surprised her later that night by purchasing ingredients to make a homemade Aussie Jawssie, complete with a toy shark and grenadine to pour into it.

Outback Steakhouse gave Nayeli a gift card after the incident and informed her that the server was required to pour the grenadine into her drink unless she was asked not to.

Nayeli revealed in a July 25 TikTok video that she and Daniel returned to the restaurant and asked to pour the grenadine by herself in advance.

All was going well until their server revealed the restaurant ‘ran out of sharks.’

‘They only had crocodiles left… I did have fun pouring the crocodile, but it just wasn’t the same,’ Nayeli wrote.

‘Thankfully before the drink came I started reminding myself that if anything wrong happened I would be okay and so when the drink came out, I managed to keep it together.’

TikTok users left positive comments for Nayeli and praised Daniel for being a supportive partner.

‘Honestly, I totally get it, and the one your partner made was probably 10x better anyway. I’m glad you did get to experience exactly what you wanted,’ wrote a commenter.

At least three TikTokers claimed to be Outback Steakhouse employees, and one revealed that servers hardly pour the grenadine themselves.

The alleged employee wrote: ‘I’m a waitress at Outback, and they told us we’re supposed to pour the grenadine into the drink for the customers, but most of us never do it for them because that’s the best part.’

Daily Mail has reached out to Outback Steakhouse for comment.
