Later this month, gamers will be introduced to Kay Vess, the main character of Star Wars Outlaws. Actress Humberly Gonzalez performed as Kay through motion capture and lent her likeness and voice to the character as well. Although there aren’t currently any plans for Kay to appear in a live-action Star Wars project, it won’t take much convincing to get Gonzalez on board to reprise her role.

When asked by VGC if she wants to play Kay in live-action, Gonzalez replied, “Absolutely. Seeing what an actual human connection to the world could look like, I know I have the skills to bring that to real life… There’s definitely this sense of beautiful responsibility, but I also feel like if I were going to be in any franchise, I feel honored and ready to be part of this one.”

Gonzalez isn’t the first performer in a Star Wars video game who physically resembles their character. Janina Gavankar appeared as Iden Versio in Star Wars Battlefront II, while Cameron Monaghan has headlined Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor as a young Jedi named Cal Kestis. While Gavankar and Monaghan have extensive acting credits, neither of them have reprised their roles in live-action yet.

GameSpot recently had a hands-on preview of Star Wars Outlaws that gave us greater insight into Kay’s character. Gamers will be able to learn more about her when Star Wars Outlaws hits Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on August 30.

Former ABC Chair and well known media identity Ita Buttrose has caused controversy within the ABC by having the temerity to suggest that there are some journalists within the organisation who don't present both sides of stories they cover. In other words, the ABC is failing its duty of impartiality as the public broadcaster. 'I

Missile attack by Yemen’s Houthi rebels hits container ship in first attack in 2 weeks

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — A missile attack by Yemen’s Houthi rebels struck a Liberian-flagged container ship traveling through the Gulf of Aden, authorities said Sunday, the first assault by the group since Israeli airstrikes targeted them. The Houthis offered no explanation for the two-week pause in their attacks on shipping through the Red Sea corridor, which
