DNC official gives devastating assessment of ‘weirdly unpopular’ Kamala Harris in bombshell secret recording and reveals fundraising tactic that will leave donors furious

A member of Kamala Harris‘s team who is also a prominent member of the Democratic National Committee was filmed conceding that she will not ‘win this year.’

Kamala Harris Campaign Compliance Manager Joyce DeCerce – who is a Compliance Manager for the  DNC – could be seen lamenting how Harris is ‘weirdly unpopular’, while seemingly admitting to making empty promises to donors.

In the footage, DeCerce agrees that the campaign fundraising strategy is to ‘take their money and tell them what they want to hear.’

The devastating rundown comes as Harris prepares to accept her party’s nomination, while airing a desire to win as recently as Tuesday.

The unsubstantiated footage, meanwhile, comes from O’Keefe Media, and an undercover female journalist who remains unnamed.

The unproven footage appears to show Kamala Harris Campaign Compliance Manager Joyce DeCerce - who is also Compliance Manager for the DNC - lamenting how Harris is 'weirdly unpopular', while seemingly admitting to making empty promises to donors

The founder of O’Keefe Media, James O’Keefe, claimed in a video on X that the journalist received a ‘threatening’ postcard at her house to halt the video’s release.

O’Keefe, 40, is infamous for launching the far-right activist group Project Veritas, which produces deceptively edited videos often at politicians’ expense.

‘I like Kamala Harris, but I don’t think she’d win this year,’ DeCerce says in the clip.

When asked why, he provides a devastating rundown, suggesting that Harris’s lack of popularity stems from her lack of success and the fact that she is a black woman.

‘She’s weirdly unpopular,’ DeCerce says, seated opposite the unseen ‘journalist.’

‘I think a lot of that is racism and misogyny,’ he concedes.

‘And the vice president is so easy to attack, right? She doesn’t have any accomplishments to speak of, because she’s vice president. She doesn’t make laws.

DeCerce continued, ‘Her job is to become president if Joe Biden dies. And a lot of the time, the vice president, whoever they are, gets sent to do the hard stuff.’

When asked why Harris is ‘constantly getting attacked,’ DeCerce responds, ‘Honestly, if you look at the stuff people attack her with, it is a bunch of racist, sexist bullsh*t.

‘Like, it’s just stuff you wouldn’t say about a man,’ he adds. ‘People call her ditsy.’

At this point, DeCerce explains his responsibilities as a compliance manager.

‘I don’t manage anyone,’ he says of his post at an organization tasked with naming party’s nominees for president and vice president.

‘The end all be all of my job is reporting to the government how much the DNC raised and where it spends its money.

‘And Joe Biden’s campaign right now, because they don’t have anyone doing that for them,’ he adds.

'She's weirdly unpopular,' DeCerce seemingly says of Harris while seated opposite the unseen 'journalist.' 'I think a lot of that is racism and misogyny,' he at one point concedes

When asked how they secure donations, he replies ‘You kind of tell a donor what they want to hear.’

He’s later asked, ‘Do you feel like our strategy has always been just like, take their money and tell them what they want to hear?’ – to which the staffer replies, ‘Yeah, that’s politics.’

When the person filming expresses surprise over his answer and asks again, DeCerce answers, ‘100 percent.’

He also says how he thought ‘it was a good thing’ for Biden to debate Trump – despite it being the president’s undoing days later. The clip appears to be filmed before the debate, which was held on June 28.

‘Because he would have he would have had to debate Trump anyway,’ DeCerce reasons.

‘Just politically – he would have had to.’

He adds, ‘We’ve had people who, like, haven’t wanted to give us money because they think the campaign is not doing well enough or Biden isn’t strong enough.

The undercover journalist at this point asks, ‘So some donors are holding back on writing checks because they think that the campaign’s not doing well?’

DeCerce at this point appears to agree, spurring the journalist to respond, ‘Why would they think that?’

‘I don’t know. A lot of people think we should attack Trump more.’

O’Keefe, meanwhile, claimed the woman who met with DeCerce and filmed the encounter arranged the sitdown on the dating app Bumble.

He said the two met up up on several occasions.
