There’s nothing more ’80s than GI Joe, Knight Rider, and Transformers, but smashing those properties into a new line of cool collectibles is extra radical. Out later this year, fans can grab two very cool Transformers toys based on iconic vehicles from GI Joe and Knight Rider.
Preorder Transformers X G.I. Joe – Autobot Kup Triple-T Tank
$90
First up is a GI Joe collaboration that gives the battle-hardened Transformer Kup a US military makeover. The veteran of a thousand battles can transform into a GI Joe Triple-T Tank sporting the insignia of the US Special Forces group as part of his design. You’re also getting two GI Joe figures with the Transformer–Sergeant Slaughter and Leatherneck–and a selection of blaster weapons and missiles you can attach to Kup’s body. This figure will cost $90 and will be released on October 1. You can preorder
Preorder Transformers X Knight Rider – Autobot Agent Knight
The second crossover imagines KITT from Knight Rider if he was built in a Cybertronian garage. Priced at $50 and available starting December 1, KITT can convert from his Pontiac Trans Am vehicle mode into an Autobot armed with two blasters. The cool thing about this figure is that it has several electronic features, including lights, sound effects, and six phrases.
