CIndy Crawford is clarifying her recent comments about Greek fashion designer Vassilios Kostetsos.

On a Wednesday, July 24, episode of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, the 58-year-old supermodel was playing a game of “Plead the Fifth” in which host Andy Cohen asks three questions, allowing the guest to pass on only one.

Cohen began the game by asking Crawford to name a designer she “hopes to never work with again.”

“I’ve really only worked with good ones,” the model replied, to which Cohen, 56, said, “You can plead the fifth.

“No, I know this game,” Crawford retorted. “If I plead the fifth on this one, it’s gonna get nastier.”

The Meaningful Beauty founder eventually named Vassilios Kostetsos, “a swimsuit designer in Greece.”

“I’m just gonna go rando,” she said. “I answered it, but I didn’t upset any big designers.”

On Thursday, Aug. 1, the model took to Instagram to apologize for her comments about Kostetsos.

“From the archive… so many fun looks walking for @vassilioskostetsos,” she captioned a carousel containing photos of her previous work with Kostetos. “P.S. sorry for the mix up — I guess I fold under pressure! If you know you know. Sending a big kiss.”

During the “Plead the Fifth” segment, Crawford also spoke about her daughter Kaia Gerber‘s boyfriend, Austin Butler. Cohen asked the model what her take was on Butler’s “never-ending” accent when he  filmed the 2022 Elvis biopic.

“I just … That’s Austin to me,” Crawford replied.

“I didn’t know that he was from Anaheim,” she added, referencing, Butler, 32, growing up in California.

“He spent so long being  Elvis that I think it just stuck,” Crawford continued. “I’ve never heard him … like, I didn’t know him pre-Elvis. So that’s just Austin to me.”

Butler, who first sparked romance rumors with Gerber in December 2021, famously retained his Memphis-style accent after filming for the Baz Luhrmann-directed movie had ended.
