An urgent search has been launhced to find a teenage girl who went missing from a train station in Sydney‘s west.
Christina Avakian, 15, was last seen at Fairfield Railway Station, 30km west of the Sydney’s CBD, at about 4.30pm on Sunday.
CCTV footage shows the teenager walking along the platform wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.
She was reported missing after her family were unable to locate or contact her when she failed to return home.
‘Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to her age,’ a NSW Police spokesman said.
Christina is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 165cm tall, having a medium build and long brown hair.
Police said the 15-year-old is known to frequent the Fairfield, Macquarie Fields and Campbelltown areas.
Anyone with information about Christina’s whereabouts is being urged to contact Fairfield City Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
