Will Christina Hall Transform Her $12M Home Now That Josh Has Moved Out? See What Might Stay—or Go

Christina Hall is feeling peace as her ex peaces out.

Her soon-to-be ex-husband, Josh Hall, moved out of their $12 million Newport Beach, CA, home over the weekend, according to People.

His move comes less than three weeks after he filed for divorce on July 15.

While Josh made the move, Christina was on a girls’ trip in South Carolina—and, afterward, she posted this message to her Instagram stories: “South Carolina was good to me. The pure peace I felt there was something I haven’t felt in a long time. It reminded me I am capable of feeling this daily.”

Christina and Josh purchased their Newport Beach home in 2022, and they documented their house hunt on her show “ Christina on the Coast.”

Last June, Christina gave a home tour on YouTube, and then shared her stunning remodel on Instagram a few months later.

“Lived in a lot of houses but this one is pretty special,” Christina wrote on Instagram. “Took ultra modern and softened it with some natural wood, a lot of live plants and some ‘Bali’ elements, plus a bit of black for contrast.”

During the YouTube tour, Christina said her home office was “probably truly the only room in the house that is actually for me.”

But that’s probably all about to change now that Josh has moved out.

“Changing your space via redecoration is essential in my opinion to a better frame of mind and feeling untethered to the past,” says Lucie Ayres, founder and principal designer of 22 Interiors in Studio City, CA.

Now that Christina’s the queen of her castle, what spaces will this designer reimagine first? Here are some prime possibilities of what will go.

Good riddance to Josh Hall’s man cave

Josh’s man cave will likely be the first room to get a complete overhaul.

The testosterone-fueled space featured ’80s memorabilia, including a replica DeLorean time machine from the movie “Back to the Future,” Josh’s dad’s vintage car, a dirt bike, and Josh’s old police locker, according to HGTV. It even has a working garage door that opens up to the outside.

But, Josh seems to be wasting no time in clearing out the space. When he moved out on Sunday, he packed up the vintage DeLorean along with his dirt bike, People reports.

It’s hard to imagine Christina will keep this man cave now that the man is no longer in the picture.

Bedroom redo?

After a divorce, people often redecorate their bedrooms to exorcise their ex. But this bedroom is so incredible, it’s hard to imagine how Christina will improve on perfection.

“Even something as simple as repainting the walls or changing the layout will have a dramatic effect on how you perceive a space and make it your own,” Ayres says.

Even simply adding a more floral, feminine bedspread could transform this room fast.

Now playing, or not staying?

During the YouTube home tour, Josh called the home theater his favorite spot in the house.

He designed the room’s shooting-star ceiling, so it will be interesting to see if that’s a feature Christina decides to keep or ditch.

So long, sauna?

Christina said on the YouTube tour that the sauna was inspired by a spa at a hotel she and Josh had visited together. He said he built the sauna himself with a kit Christina had researched and ordered.

It remains to be seen if the sauna will hold too many memories to hold on to, or if it will be a good place to sweat out the stress that a divorce inevitably brings.

Will protesters, or police, be the problem at the Democratic National Convention?

More than 20,000 protesters are expected to cram into a 1.4 mile-long court-approved protest route near Democratic National Convention in Chicago next week, creating a potential standoff between demonstrators and a police department with a history of excessive force. The 264 protest groups that have said they will participate are primarily focused on Palestinian rights, ending
