Former President Donald Trump is the only member of the family on the ballot this November, but there is already presidential merchandise being created for his youngest son, Barron Trump.

T-shirts, pins and notebooks bearing Barron’s name and candidacy for a 2044 election, when the 18-year-old will have reached the age allowed to run for the White House, are cropping up at Donald’s rallies and online vendors. Barron does not turn 35—the age requirement for a president—until 2041, so 2044 will be the first presidential election for which Barron will be old enough to serve.

Supporters of Donald Trump, the 2024 Republican presidential nominee, have been spotted wearing shirts with Barron’s face and the slogan “Barron 2044” on the front. There are also “Barron Trump For President 2044” buttons being sold on eBay and notebooks with the same slogan for purchase on Amazon.

Barron is the youngest of Donald’s five children and the only one he shares with his wife and former first lady Melania Trump. His parents have largely shielded him from politics and the national spotlight. He was 10 when his father was elected in 2016.

The Republican National Committee invited Barron to serve as a Florida delegate at its convention this year—the same event where his father was formally nominated—but Melania’s office said he “regretfully” declined because of “prior commitments.”

Barron was the only one of Donald’s children absent from last month’s convention in Milwaukee. His father, who had previously said he was “all for” Barron being a delegate if he wanted to, appeared to acknowledge that his youngest son was not in attendance during his speech, telling the crowd, “Barron, we love our Barron.”

Barron graduated from Oxbridge Academy, a private high school in West Palm Beach, in May. His family has said he will attend college in the fall but has not revealed where he will study. There is speculation that he could follow in the footsteps of his siblings, Ivanka, Tiffany and Don Jr., and attend the University of Pennsylvania. Donald Trump also graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

“He’s now going to college, got into every college he wanted to,” Donald said at the July 9 rally where Barron made his debut campaign appearance. “He made his choice and he is a very good guy.” The crowd in Florida gave Barron a standing ovation as his father introduced him.

Although Barron hasn’t been as public-facing as his siblings, Donald Trump said in May that the 18-year-old “likes politics” and sometimes even tells his father what he thinks he should do, which Donald said was “sort of funny.”

Donald’s three oldest children, Ivanka, Don Jr. and Eric, had very hands-on roles during the Trump presidency and served as advisers to their father. It is unclear if Barron would serve in his father’s administration if he is reelected in November.
