Missouri officials issued an AMBER Alert for a missing 9-month-old who was abducted in Kansas City on Wednesday.
The Kansas City Police Department said in the alert that Armon Calvin was abducted at 4013 Hedges Ave at 9:48 a.m.
The child is about 2 feet tall and weighs around 30 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Officials identified the suspect as Traci Calvin, a Black 24-year-old female. She is about 5-foot-7 and weighs around 160 pounds. She is described as having brown hair, brown eyes and pawprint tattoos on her face.
Traci Calvin allegedly left the residence with the child and made statements that she was going to kill him.
Traci Calvin is driving a white 2015 Nissan Rogue with a Kansas license plate with the number 379RGM, according to police. The vehicle was last seen at East 40th Street and Hedges Avenue.

What is an AMBER Alert?
The AMBER Alert is a nationwide notification system to inform the public about missing children under the age of 18.
The alerts are broadcast through radio, TV, road signs, cellphones and other data-enabled devices.
As of last year, 1,200 children were found through the AMBER Alert system and 180 children were rescued because of the emergency alerts.
AMBER Alerts are issued in cases where an abduction has occurred, the child is at risk of serious injury or death and there is descriptive information of the child, the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle.
Active AMBER Alerts
Two other AMBER Alerts are currently active for children who went missing in Tennessee and Wisconsin.
Sebastian Rogers, 15, went missing from his mother and stepfather’s home in Sumner County, Tennessee on February 26.
He is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and he wears glasses. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants and a black sweatshirt.
Anyone with information about the missing teenager should call the Sumner County Emergency Communications Center at 615-451-3838 or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
Elijah Vue, 3, went missing on February 20 in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. His last known location was his mother’s boyfriend’s house.
“He was last seen wearing gray sweat pants, long sleeve dark colored shirt and red and green dinosaur slip on shoes,” the Amber Alert said.
