Paul, who has 4.1 followers on TikTok, disrupted the social media platform’s corner of Mormon #MomTok in June 2022 when she revealed her seemingly-perfect relationship with husband Tate Paul was ending in divorce.

The peppy brunette revealed she and Tate had a swinging “agreement” in their marriage but she betrayed that by “going all the way” with another man in their group. The former couple share two children: Indy, 6, and Ocean, 3.

“The whole group was intimate with each other,” she claimed. “It wasn’t like I was going around hooking up with my friend’s husband. It was, like, we were at a party, I got belligerent, and we went and messed around by ourselves rather than the whole group,” she said at the time.

The upcoming Hulu series dives into “the scandalous world of a group of Mormon mom influencers implodes when they get caught in the midst of a swinging sex scandal.”

“Now, their sisterhood is shook to its core. Faith, friendship and reputations are all on the line. Will #MomTok be able to survive and continue to give the rulebook a run for its money, or will this group fall from grace?” the show’s synopsis reads.

After Paul admitted to her wrongdoing, she claimed to be “shunned” by some Mormon momfluencers despite them partaking in similar behaviors. Paul made one TikTok in which she claimed she was a single mom, crying as she packed suitcases. But a month later, she introduced her new boyfriend — now fiancé – Dakota Mortensen as the guy she “cheated with.”

In February 2023, Paul was arrested on assault and domestic violence charges, admitting to police that she “went ballistic” and threw a wooden playset and metal chairs at Mortensen. One of the metal chairs allegedly hit her young daughter’s eye, leaving her with a “goose egg” on the head, the New York Post reported.

Paul later pleaded guilty to aggravated assault while the other charges were dropped. She reached a plea deal in September – the same month she announced she and Mortensen were expecting their son, Ever, who was born in March. She and Mortensen appear to still be together by the looks of social media.
