Fans went wild over Taylor Swift‘s recent night out in London, but one super-Swiftie was especially thrilled to see the singer step out in a particularly stylish Vivienne Westwood skirt suit on Monday.

In May 2023, Cookie Cohen, 27, launched an Instagram account called @YouBelonginThis, where she dreams up high fashion outfits she thinks the “Cruel Summer” star should wear. The page features photoshopped pictures of Swift rocking looks made by luxury brands like Schiaparelli, Jacquemus and Acne Studio, among others.

Cohen tells PEOPLE she’s not a professional stylist, but she does keep up with runway fashion. She started the account after spotting several outfits she thought might suit Swift stunningly.

“I would just be like, ‘Oh, this is very Taylor,’ ” the New Yorker recalls. When she would see the Grammy winner in photos, Cohen couldn’t help but dream about putting her own twist on the outfits. She started superimposing on-trend attire on to snaps of Swift on the red carpet or out and about.

Back in March, she pseudo-styled the pop sensation in the exact tartan Vivienne Westwood ensemble — with retail price tag over $2,000 — that she wore to host a party for her Eras Tour staff on Aug. 12. Cohen had photoshopped the look over a photo of Swift walking alongside friend and collaborator Gracie Abrams. Riffing on lyrics from Swift’s hit “Champagne Problems,” the caption read, “November flush and  @viviennewestwood flannel cure.”

This week, the star wore white socks under pistachio-hued platform Mary Jane heels from Sézane, while Cohen’s personal vision paired the matching skirt and jacket with chunky ruby pumps and knee-high socks (as styled for Vivienne Westwood’s autumn collection lookbook).

After photos of Swift’s London look rolled out, Cohen received a slew of Instagram DMs from her 21,800 followers sharing news of Swift’s latest getup. “They were all like, ‘Cookie, look, she’s wearing your outfit!’ ” the fan recalls. “I was bugging out.”

It was an unbelievable coincidence — or was it? At first, Cohen didn’t really think she might’ve had some influence over Swift’s style. She tells PEOPLE that the more she thought about it, the more she thought her content might’ve reached someone in the hitmaker’s inner circle, if not Swift herself.

“It’s either like the weirdest coincidence ever, or she was bored on her flight to London and was checking out the account, because we know she has eyes everywhere,” says Cohen.

Swift famously communicates with her fans through easter eggs dropped in songs, interviews and fashion choices as well, so Cohen feels a nod to her styling page isn’t too far from the realm of possibilities.

“I just love how she interacts with her fans with these codes,” she says of Swift. If this was a shoutout to the Instagram account, Cohen adds, “She decided to send a message to me and her fans that she sees us and what we’re doing and appreciates it. It’s so cool to have an outlet that the community supports and that she sees and supports!”

Cohen hasn’t heard from Swift’s team yet, but if she steps out in another look featured on @YouBelonginThis, Cohen tells PEOPLE she plans to reach out. She’s got a few more ideas for how the industry icon can best strut her stuff.

For example, she appreciates Swift’s love of skirted looks, especially when she pairs them with lower cut shoes — like loafers or sneakers — instead of boots, “just to elongate the legs even more,” Cohen notes. And according to the style-savvy content creator, Swift can’t go wrong in tight, fitted tops: “That’s when I see her, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, she’s slaying,’ ” says Cohen.

Regardless of whether or not Swift took direct inspiration from her fashion-forward fan, the Vivienne Westwood look assured Cohen that she really does have a handle on the megastar’s sense of style.

“I’m very proud of myself, because it means that I know what she would wear. I’m not putting what I would wear on her, I’m putting what she would wear on her,” Cohen tells PEOPLE. “It’s really out of love. I’m a Swiftie first, and a fashion girly second.”
