A rapper and gangbanger has been charged with shooting a a 13-year-old Brooklyn boy who was heading home from a Brooklyn Nets game nearly six months ago, prosecutors said this week.

Jared “Jah Woo” McCauley, 21, was arraigned Wednesday on a 13-count indictment charging him with murder, criminal mischief and reckless endangerment in the Feb. 29 slaying of Troy Gill, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office.

Gill was on his way home from a basketball game at the Barclays Center when a drive-by gunman shot him in the chest and upper body at Bergen Street and New York Avenue in Crown Heights around 10:30 p.m., according to cops and prosecutors.

The gravely injured teen tragically called his mother to tell her he’d been shot – before he was rushed to the Kings County Hospital Center, where he died, the DA’s Office said.

About a half-hour later, McCauley and his alleged accomplice Sheik Koureichi, 21, drove a white Jeep to East New York where they unloaded rounds at the front door of a rival gangbanger who purportedly belonged to the Drench street crew, prosecutors said.

Prosecutors are calling both incidents revenge-motivated for an alleged act of violence against McCauley earlier in the day.

McCauley – a rapper associated with the Woo gang – was allegedly lured to the Bronx, forced into a car, beaten, stripped, and then booted from the vehicle in an incident that was recorded and posted on social media.

Koureichi – who was said to be in the car when McCauley fired a barrage of bullets at Gill – was arraigned on the same indictment on July 29.

Both suspects were ordered held without bail, which a judge upheld during a second court appearance Friday.

“As alleged, these defendants went on a revenge spree that took the life of a young boy,” Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez said in a statement.

“This type of senseless retaliatory gang violence is claiming too many lives, including children, and my office, along with the NYPD, is focused on solving each one of those shootings and holding those who commit them responsible,” Gonzalez added.

“I commend everyone who worked on this complicated investigation and hope today’s indictment will bring a small measure of relief to Troy’s loved ones.”
