Adult film star Sophia Leone died of an accidental drug overdose, authorities announced Tuesday.

The 26-year-old was found dead in her Albuquerque home on March 1. Her death was initially being investigated as “suspicious” and “unique” police said at the time, although there were no reported signs of trauma on her body.

But Albuquerque Police confirmed Leone accidentally overdosed, however it’s not clear which substances she had ingested.

A police report obtained by TMZ said Leone’s mother told police that her daughter had a history of suicidal thoughts and was known to drink heavily.

Leone died of a drug overdose, authorities confirmed on Tuesday.

In a tragic final Instagram post dated last September, Leone encouraged her 300,000 followers to “go outside and just appreciate life a little extra today.”

The Miami native broke into the adult film industry in 2014 and starred in over 80 scenes, according to her IMDb page.
