GameSpot — 4/10

“Sure, some of the jokes were very funny, and some of the action was very good, but Deadpool & Wolverine is the worst Deadpool movie.” — Phil Owen [ Full review]

USA Today — 3.5/4

“Most of the silliness lands, and the stuff that doesn’t is enveloped by the total chaos, anyway. That’s all to be expected with Deadpool around. The meat of the matter, surprisingly, is the loving closure given to the Fox movie run, plus a reminder how much an unleashed Jackman rules now, and always did.” — Brian Truitt [ Full review]

The Irish Times — 1/5

“One star for this awful, awful pile of puerile, snarky parody… after two hours of this infantile mugging, one is left longing for the genuinely upending humour of the Batman TV series from 60 years ago. Awful. Just awful.” — Donald Clarke [ Full review]

New York Post — 3.5/4

“While retaking its cinematic crown will be a challenge, Deadpool & Wolverine is a giant, promising step forward for the franchise. Director Shawn Levy’s laugh-a-second movie is easily the best Marvel has delivered since 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, and provides similarly nostalgic pleasures in its whiplash-inducing number of retro cameos–none of which I’ll spoil, for fear of my own life.” — Johnny Oleksinski [ Full review]

Los Angeles Times — 5/10

“While it will likely amuse its target audience of geeks and the terminally online, Deadpool & Wolverine is a whole lot of hot air and not much else.” — Katie Walsh [ Full review]
