A divorced wealthy Miami man left a female triathlete bruised and bloody after he allegedly attacked her with a water bottle while he ran in a bike-only lane.

Andrew Cobb, 54, hurled the bottle at Maria Galleguillo’s face causing her to fall off her bike and sustain serious injuries.

Afterwards Cobb reportedly told the victim: ‘You have to share the road I’ve been hit by you guys before.’

Cobb, who owns a $430,000 luxury condo in Miami, filed for divorce in 2023. His now ex-wife owns the couple’s $1.9 million home in Manhattan Beach, California.

Shocking images show Galleguillo, 56, bleeding and on the ground after being struck while Cobb was pictured running away from the scene when onlookers called the police.

Galleguillo was riding her bike on Crandon Boulevard in Key Biscayne around 7.45am on July 7 when Cobb approached her while jogging in the same lane.

As the two passed, Cobb swung a water bottle into Galleguillo’s face, Miami-Dade Police said.

After committing the ‘malicious act’, Cobb remained at the scene while another cyclist called the police to report the incident.

But before officers arrived, he ran away. Galleguillo captured him running and uploaded the snap to social media.

‘As more cyclists were coming together and said “police”, the guy left,’ Galleguillo told Local 10.

Just before they passed each other in the lane, Galleguillo attempted to pass Cobb as he ran directly toward her.

‘That was a malicious act,’ Galleguillo said in the hospital.

‘The guy that was running there, he was not supposed to be there because it was a bike lane. It wasn’t a pedestrian lane.’

The injured cyclist posted pictures related to the incident on July 9, including images of Cobb running away from the scene.

‘While he might be out there enjoying life without any remorse whatsoever, I continue under observation at Mercy Hospital with bruises, cuts, road rash, a knee with a new scar, aches and pains and reduce range of motion on shoulder,’ Galleguillo said before Cobb was arrested.

Along with images of him, Galleguillo shared a picture of her, dressed in a blue top and gray shorts, holding her bloody knee.

She also shared images of her injuries, including a bruised and cut chin, a bruise on her cheek where he hit her, and stitches on her knee from the fall.

The injured woman also posted a video of her hopping around on a walker just 24 hours after surgery.

‘I can’t understand why some people can be so inhumane and inflict damages on others’ lives,’ she wrote.

Galleguillo said that Cobb could have ‘easily moved over’ in the bike lane, but now she won’t be able to enjoy her favorite hobbies or return to work for a while.

Cobb was arrested on Monday and is facing a charge of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm.

Public records revealed that Cobb filed for divorce from his ex-wife Ingrid in Los Angeles County Superior Courts on July 22, 2023.

They share an 18-year-old daughter together.
