Melania Trump is releasing her memoir, her office announced on Thursday, as the former first lady moves to tell her own story after years of being defined by her marriage to Donald Trump.

‘Melania’ will be the ‘powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity and defined personal excellence,’ her office said.

The book will be released in the fall but no specific date was provided. It’s unclear if it will be released before the election or afterward.

The memoir will include ‘personal stories and family photos she has never before shared with the public,’ her office said.

‘May your experience reading my book be as enjoyable as the writing process was for me,’ Melania Trump wrote on X about the book.

She is selling two editions: a $150 collector’s edition featuring 256 pages in full color throughout, with each copy signed by the author. The memoir edition will be 304 pages and available for $40 with signed copies available for $75.

‘Melania’ will be released by Skyhorse Publishing, which has published such  Trump supporters as former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and attorney Alan Dershowitz

‘I am proud to publish Melania Trump’s profound personal memoir, MELANIA, in which she shares surprising experiences from her childhood, her international fashion career, and her time as First Lady of the United States,’ Tony Lyons, President and Publisher, Skyhorse Publishing, Inc., told DailyMail.com in a statement.

‘The book is a diligent and historically important record of the turbulent recent past of our country, seen from Melania Trump’s unique vantage point. It coveys her core beliefs of unity, hope and kindness, and whatever you thought you knew about this intensely private woman, these pages contain something more – and something deeper.’

The former first lady has been the subject of many biographies and books but this is the first time she is telling her story.

It is unclear if she worked with a co-author and if she will go on a book tour.

Melania Trump, 54, has been something of an enigma in public life.

The third wife of Donald Trump is intensly private and spent much of her White House years focused on raising her son Barron, who was a teenage at the time.

After the Trumps left the White House she maintained her low profile.

She has not been heavily involved in her husband’s 2024 campaign for the White House. She appeared at his campaign announcement and at the Republican National Convention, where, unlike other spouses of candidates, she opted not to address the delegates.

She has yet to appear at a campaign rally. She also didn’t attend the first presidential debate and has been careful to distance herself from her husband’s legal troubles.

There have been reports she won’t live in the White House full time if Trump wins the November election.
