Nintendo and Lego will apparently release a 16-bit Super Mario World set later this year. A new leak shows Cape Mario riding Yoshi in what appears to be an interactive Lego build, with a handle rotating to make the green dino’s tongue stick out.
Jay’s Brick Blog spotted the Lego Super Mario World set–which contains 1,215 pieces and is supposedly planned to release October 1–on a Singaporean Lego certified store, per IGN. This webpage has since been taken down, but not before Jay’s Brick Blog snagged images of the product, which you can see below

Lego is at San Diego Comic-Con, so there could be a chance this 16-bit Super Mario World set is officially announced sooner than later. The packaging notes this product is meant for adults, with a suggested 18+ rating on the box.
The partnership between Lego and Nintendo began in 2020, starting with an interactive Lego Super Mario set. Last year, Donkey Kong expansions joined the party, including Diddy and Dixie. As for the future, a Lego Mario Kart set is planned for sometime in 2025.
Earlier this month, a lot of the Lego Super Mario sets were part of Amazon Prime Day deals. While some bundles have reverted back to their original prices, others are still available at a discount.
