We’d all love to own a SHIELD Helicarrier, although most of us don’t have a spare football field to park it on. Fortunately, this Lego version of the famed flying battleship from the Marvel Cinematic Universe takes up a lot less space, and it’s now available to preorder at Walmart ahead of its August 1 release.
Lego Marvel SHIELD Helicarrier set
$80
Out of the box, you’re getting 509 pieces with which to build Nick Fury’s favorite mode of transportation. Based on the helicarrier seen in The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Shield flagship is 33cm long when fully constructed and has cool details like a SHIELD-branded runway, arc reactor engines, and a command center. This is made to be a display piece as it comes with a stand to place it on, but if you want to admire your work, you can easily detach it from the base.
The new Lego SHIELD Helicarrier set arrives on August 1 alongside a collection of new Lego Star Wars releases. The new sets include scenes based on recent shows like Star Wars: Ahsoka, classic starships from the original and prequel trilogies, and a “What If” set that reimagines Jar Jar Binks as a Sith lord who pilots a dark version of the Millenium Falcon with a bounty hunter C-3PO sidekick. Staying in the MCU, there are a few other fun Avengers Lego sets that you can check out. Amazon is offering big discounts on sets like the Avengers: Endgame final battle diorama, and you can get your own Quinjet with a full team of Earth’s mightiest mortals inside of it. There’s even a Lego version of the famed Infinity Gauntlet that you can build, but it has two drawbacks: it’s non-wearable and it doesn’t change reality whenever you snap its fingers.

Lastly, there are two amazing Spider-Man sets up for grabs, both based on the final battle from Spider-Man: No Way Home. Spider-Man vs. the Sandman is a very cool diorama piece where the villain named after one of the best Metallica songs is in the spotlight, and the second set features the Green Goblin, Electro, Doc Ock, Dr. Strange, and three Spider-Men fighting to save the entire multiverse.
