A Boston woman got the surprise of her life when she discovered crazed turkeys attacking her Audi convertible and scratching the paintwork.

Alicia Mastroianni, 26, was about to head out again after her night shift at Boston Children’s Hospital on Monday when she noticed a note on her car’s windshield, parked outside of her apartment.

‘I just watched (and recorded) a massive turkey attack your car for over 15 mins! It looks pretty scratched up 🙁 I tried to scare it away but it ignored me,’ the note by her across-the street neighbor read. ‘Not sure what insurance coverage there is for car turkey attacks.’

The healthcare worker was perplexed, and said she wasn’t sure how she was going to explain her situation without others questioning whether or not she was lying.

‘You can’t just say, “Oh, my car was attacked by a turkey.” Without proof, it sounds insane,’ Mastroianni told the Boston Globe.

Matroianni was more stunned by the damage her car sustained from the rabid turkey.

‘I was very confused. I’ve lived in such harmony with these animals,’ she said. ‘Now they’re choosing violence.’

She obtained the video of the turkey roughing up her car from her neighbor who left the note in hopes that it would help explain the situation to her insurance.

Mastroianni uploaded the video to TikTok and has since amassed close to 7 million views.

‘It’s just funny that it went so viral,’ she said.

Video footage shows another turkey acting as lookout from a grassy vantage point as another turkey viciously pecks at the parked car.

In a dramatic moment, the aggressive bird leaps into the air, striking the vehicle with a forceful double kick.

‘It was pretty banged up. Initially, I was just like, “Oh, great. This is just what I need,”‘ she said.

TikTok users in the comments were baffled. Although most users were sympathetic, they couldn’t help but crack a few jokes about the whole ordeal.

One user said: ‘turKEYED the car — my 12 yr old.’

Another wrote: ‘If there wasn’t video evidence, I’d have thought they made it up after hitting your car.’

A third chimed in: ‘Any chance your insurance covers Act of Fowl?’

Luckily, Mastroianni’s insurance did. While filing the claim, she said there was ‘an option for parked car animal violence, which I thought was funny because it definitely fits my needs.’

‘It’s definitely more used by people out in the Midwest and the West, like with bears and moose and bigger animals…but it worked because it was like parked car animal violence,’ Mastroianni said.

Fortunately, the scratches on Mastroianni’s car weren’t irreparable as the auto body shop confirmed most of the damage was superficial.

However, because she had a $500 deductible, she ended up paying that amount for the repairs.

‘I was really hoping that Farmers [Insurance] would reach out for a commercial idea. But no, not yet. I haven’t heard from any of the insurance companies yet,’ Mastroianni said.
