An Air Canada flight from Morocco to Montreal was reportedly cancelled over a flight attendant’s response to a passenger who asked for a blanket.

Footage of Air Canada flight AC73 has gone viral showing the altercation between the airline employee and the female passenger who requested the blanket, as reported by CTV News.

The flight attendant allegedly tried to remove the passenger from the plane and threatened to call the police before other passengers threatened to deplane in solidarity.

The airline employee is heard saying: ‘You will behave or we will get off!’ and  ‘I’ll tell the captain right away. Yes or no?’

When passengers tell her to call the captain, the flight attendant says, ‘I don’t want no bullying against my crew.’

A video was shared online, although the flight attendant was already shouting at the passenger by the time the camera began rolling.

It remains unclear what happened beforehand and the female passenger who asked for the blanket has not been identified or come forward.

Air Canada told CTV News the flight would depart from Casablanca to Montreal on Saturday with a different crew.

A spokesperson for the airline said: ‘We are taking this incident very seriously. It is under review, and we will take appropriate action.
