Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are truly committed to the bit.
The Wicked costars haven’t given up on dressing in their characters’ signature colors — and they brought the looks across the pond to Paris for the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony.
Ahead of the big event along the River Seine, Grande and Erivo, who star as Glinda and Elphaba respectively in this fall’s movie, walked the red carpet by the Eiffel Tower hand in hand.
Grande, 31, looked angelic in a custom baby pink midi-length duchess silk satin dress with a drop waist and sweet bow. She wore a matching bow in her hair and white silk gloves. Her look was finished with light pink pointed-toe heels. Her whole look was by Thom Browne.

Erivo, 37, brought her best Elphaba with an emerald-green strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline. She added a wide-brimmed hat and pointed-toe heels. Erivo piled on the Roberto Coin jewels, wearing several gold bracelets and rings. She also rocked ultra-long nails, which felt positively witchy!

The pair have been committed to their pink and green color palette since being cast as these characters, including when they stepped out at the 2024 Super Bowl in February. For that occasion, the two wore a pair of custom sequin Louis Vuitton football jerseys, featuring the names of their characters written across their backs.
Erivo’s was primarily green with a splash of pink, while Grande’s was the opposite colorway — fully demonstrating that the characters are actually besties. They each accessorized their jerseys similarly but in their own ways. They both wore sky-high black boots and a jacket over top.
The outfits celebrated the premiere of the first trailer for the movie musical, which aired during the big game on CBS. Wicked: Part 1 is slated to hit theaters on Nov. 22.
They even brought their “good” and “bad” witch alter egos to the carpet at this year’s Met Gala.
The “Supernatural” singer wore a custom Loewe look designed by Jonathan Anderson, featuring a bodice made of mother of pearl. She told Vogue at the time that it was the perfect piece for her, as pearl is her birthstone.
For her part, Erivo wore a black, tuxedo-style look created by Thom Browne. Her look consisted of a black sequin and lurex embroidery tailored jacket and skirt with silk satin lacing detail with an overlay of 2,000 pink silk moiré petals and 3D beaded insects individually sewn all over with a white shirt, black silk satin tie and black shoes.
