Bin bags, gas cannisters and dirty pots and pans are among discarded rubbish left behind by travellers after they were moved on from Goring beach.
Last week, a group set up camp on Hove Lawns in East Sussex, just over a year since 18 were found in the same place.
Travellers who were evicted from the same lawns by police in 2019 were allegedly involved in a large brawl shortly afterwards in a 200-person incident.
Around 50 caravans were turfed off before police received reports of a disturbance just 14 miles away in Seaford. They since moved onto Goring in West Sussex, some 16 miles down the coast.
The group camped in the quiet Worthing suburb for three days. Now officials face a huge clean-up operation after they finally removed the caravans and motor homes.

It comes after another camp was set up in the nearby Goring Gap last week, with caravans arriving on the village green on July 16.
They were then served a notice by West Sussex County Council which required them to leave the land.
The travellers obeyed the order but moved to Hove Lawns, just 1.2 miles away from Goring.
Sussex Police previously said they were monitoring the situation, with members of the public encouraged to report any crime or suspicious activity on the site.
A local police spokesperson said: ‘Police were called to a report of an unauthorised encampment off Kingsway Court, Queens Gardens, Hove shortly after 7pm on Thursday.
‘Officers, alongside partners, will continue to monitor the situation.
‘The public are encouraged to report any crime or suspicious activity to us online or by calling 101. Always call 999 in an emergency.’
A spokesman for Brighton and Hove City Council said: ‘We are aware of the unauthorised encampment on Hove Lawns and our traveller liaison team will be visiting the site alongside Sussex Police.
