A pipeline worker explained how  Kamala Harris will affect his livelihood if she’s elected president – claiming she would force him to pull from his 401(k) early to pay the bills.

‘She is a left-wing, liberal [from] San Francisco with the highest taxes. And why would anybody with any common horse-sense that’s a blue-collar worker want to even look at this woman?’ Texas pipeline worker Bugsy Allen told Fox’s America’s Newsroom.

‘I can tell you right now when that lady’s lips are moving, she’s lying,’ he added.

Allen’s outburst came as the vice president changed her position on fracking, the drilling process used to pull natural gas and oil from the ground.

Harris, who is expected to become the Democratic nominee, has said she won’t seek to ban fracking if she’s elected – a turnaround from the 2020 election campaign when she said at a CNN climate town hall that ‘there’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking.’

She has reportedly backed away from that stance, adopting  Joe Biden’s position on the issue after becoming his running mate in 2020.

'She is a left-wing, liberal [from] San Francisco with the highest taxes. And why would anybody with any common horse-sense that's a blue-collar worker want to even look at this woman?' said Texas pipeline worker Bugsy Allen

‘These people are not going to keep fracking, because they’re pushing electric cars, they’re pushing their green ideology deal. And it’s not going to work. It never will work,’ Allen said.

‘Oil and gas is going to be the driver of the United States of America.’

Allen said he and his fellow pipeline workers are ‘thinking about jerking [from] our 401(k)s just to try to live.’

‘People, I’m telling you, are hurting,’ he continued. ‘And they see these prices going up. And it’s simply because they have pushed this ideology about all kinds of electric cars and green energy. It’s not going to work.’

Her team told The Hill: ‘Trump’s false claims about fracking bans are an obvious attempt to distract from his own plans to enrich oil and gas executives at the expense of the middle class.

‘The Biden-Harris Administration passed the largest ever climate change legislation and under their leadership, America now has the highest ever domestic energy production,’ a Harris spokesperson said. ‘This Administration created 300,000 energy jobs, while Trump lost nearly a million and his Project 2025 would undo the enormous progress we’ve made the past four years.’

The issue is key in many fracking-heavy states, like Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Dakota, and Texas.

Harris’ position change comes as she’s considering Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro to be her running mate. Shapiro has sought the middle ground in the debate.

‘Governor Shapiro is an all-of-the-above energy Governor and he is taking action to invest in affordable and reliable renewable energy while continuing to support the key energy resources that have helped Pennsylvania become the leader it is today,’ a Shapiro spokesperson told Politico’s E&E News

Harris is expected to announce her running mate on Tuesday at a Philadelphia rally.

Who are the EDL? How gangs of hooligans led by Tommy Robinson brought chaos to Britain’s streets before he abandoned them for being ‘too extreme’ – as far-right group faces being labelled a terrorist organisation in the wake of Southport stabbing riots

For more than a decade the English Defence League has brought chaos to Britain's streets.  Founded by Tommy Robinson, the far right group has been a vocal and often violent opposition to what they see as the Islamification of the UK. Although it has waned in recent years, it continues to bring misery to peaceful
