Taylor Swift has issued a statement in response to the mass stabbing in Southport, England which left two children dead and nine injured.

The attack took place during a Taylor Swift-themed yoga and dance class for kids on Monday.

“I’m just completely in shock,” the popstar wrote in a story posted to her Instagram page.

“These were just little kids at a dance party,” she added. “I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families.”
