Remedy detailed these upcoming projects as part of its half-year financial report for 2024. For Control 2, this stage is an “important milestone” because not only is it playable, but the build highlights some features for the sequel, too. Meanwhile, it’s full steam ahead for the Max Payne 1 and 2 remakes. Originally revealed in 2022, the remakes will combine Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne into a single package for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Remedy is working with Rockstar and utilizing the Northlight game engine for the title, which was previously used for Control.

Last but not least, the Control multiplayer spin-off game called Codename Condor is now seeing “external playtesting for feature validation and feedback.” Remedy also points out “multiple maps” and various missions for the title.

Another multiplayer game that was in the works at Remedy codenamed Kestrel was canceled earlier this year.
