Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone just bought a majestic home in Highlands Ranch, CO, for $6.8 million.
Malone’s new mountain property features six bedrooms, 7.5 baths, and over 9,000 square feet.
Set on more than an acre, with amazing views of the Rocky Mountains, the contemporary mansion is a beautiful combination of natural stone and wood tones. An open-plan living room encompasses a den, dining area, and a lovely kitchen with high-end appliances and an enormous island.
The sprawling home’s elevator makes it easy to access the bedrooms and finished basement. There’s also an office, a glass-box wine room, and a personal gym. The main bedroom has a huge walk-in closet, space for a small living room, and an outdoor lounge.
Outside, there’s a pickleball court, pool, and covered kitchen. There’s also a four-car garage with room for a golf cart, which is a fun way to motor around the private, gated community.
For over a decade, Malone was an assistant coach in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, and the New York Knicks. He landed a head coaching gig with the Sacramento Kings in 2013 but only lasted a little over one season in California’s capital. The Nuggets hired him in 2015 and won the NBA Championship in 2023. He’s also been named NBA All-Star Game head coach twice, in 2019 and 2023.
