Girl, 13, stabbed outside subway station in Brooklyn as cops seeks trio of teen suspects

A 13-year-old girl was stabbed and wounded outside a subway station in Brooklyn Sunday night as authorities search for a trio of teen suspects, according to cops. The teen girl was knifed in the abdomen near the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station in Prospect Heights around 7:45 p.m. and rushed to Maimonides Pediatric Hospital in stable condition

A 13-year-old girl was stabbed and wounded outside a subway station in Brooklyn Sunday night as authorities search for a trio of teen suspects, according to cops.

The teen girl was knifed in the abdomen near the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station in Prospect Heights around 7:45 p.m. and rushed to Maimonides Pediatric Hospital in stable condition, authorities said.

No arrests have been made, but investigators are looking for three teen boys between the ages of 16 and 18, the NYPD said.

The teen girl was knifed in the abdomen near the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station in Prospect Heights around 7:45 p.m. and rushed to Maimonides Pediatric Hospital in stable condition, authorities said.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the knifing.

The stabbing comes as the city grapples with a disturbing rash of teen violence over the last several months.
