After seven seasons—and a Stanley Cup win—with the Las Vegas Golden Knights, center Jonathan Marchessault signed a five-year, $27.5 million contract with the Nashville Predators. So there’s no better time to roll the dice on a sale of his impressive Las Vegas mansion.
The Canadian-born hockey star recently listed the five-bedroom, 5,586-square-foot home for $5,200,000. He paid $2,150,000 for it in 2021.
The two-story contemporary was built in 2003 and has been extensively remodeled. It’s located in the private Canyon Fairways community in the Summerlin area. The monthly homeowners association fee is $580, and it includes access to golf courses, basketball courts, parks, playgrounds, and 24/7 security.
The high-end home features double glass front doors, a dramatic staircase, and a spacious great room with a high ceiling. The color palette is neutral, showcasing the natural light from the massive glass doors and windows.
The kitchen features granite countertops, custom cabinets, a pantry, and an island. The curvaceous peninsula seats six, and there’s a cozy breakfast nook with banquette seating and a bay window.
The primary suite comes with an entertainment center, reading nook, walk-in closets, and a private balcony overlooking the backyard. The primary bath features a soaking tub, a double-size shower, and a makeup station.
The backyard is a family paradise as the Marchessaults have four children. It offers an extensive play area, an in-ground trampoline, a custom Golden Knights sport court, as well as a fenced pool and spa.
The covered patio features a kitchen and a dining area with a fireplace.
Marchessault, 33, was selected by the Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL expansion draft and is an original member of the beloved Vegas squad. He’s been elected to five All-Star teams and won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the post-season MVP when the Golden Knights skated away with the Stanley Cup in 2023.
