Julia Fox is boldly taking boxers to the streets!

The Uncut Gems star, 34, was photographed on the streets of Manhattan on Saturday, Aug. 10 in a low-rise maxi skirt that fit her like a second skin.

Up close, the garment appeared to be made entirely of different pairs of boxers that were sewed together to create a ruffle effect. A white elastic band dipped below her hip bones as the garment hugged her figure.

Fox paired the statement skirt with a bright yellow long-sleeve crop top that appeared to have nipple piercing barbells on the chest.

The podcaster’s eye makeup matched her top and she wore a shade of burgundy on her lips, her platinum blonde hair styled in a pin-straight blowout.

She finished the belly-baring look with a pair of black and red heels.

The “Down the Drain” singer’ told PEOPLE earlier this year that one of her favorite looks ever is the deconstructed bridal-inspired white design that showed a lot of skin, which she wore to a Thom Browne event at Sotheby’s in New York in January.

“The dress I’d had in my closet for a really long time and I just decided last minute to go to this event, so I just threw this on really quickly,” she told PEOPLE in April while promoting her E! show OMG Fashun. “At first, I put the dress on and then one of my boobs was out, ’cause of the way the dress was cut, and then I remembered that I had just bought this Chopova [Lowena] veil on the SSENSE sale. So I was like, great, I’ll put the veil on and it’ll cover my boob. I just happened to have little gloves and the bag, and the bag said, ‘Till death do us part.'”

Her date at the event, Amy Fine Collins, embraced Fox’s wedding attire (which included a veil) by wearing black slacks and a shirt with a men’s tuxedo drawn onto it and carrying a handbag shaped like a poodle. Collins’ groom-inspired attire was by Thom Browne.

Fox admitted at the time that she was “going back and forth” on what to do about the black thong exposed in the look. She didn’t know if white or black was the right choice, but she ultimately settled on black, because she liked the idea of peeling “back a layer and she’s, like, a slutty, sultry girl.”

“Looking at the photo, I do wish that I would’ve maybe made sure the thong wasn’t twisted, but it’s okay,” she said.

In 2022, Fox told The Cut that when it comes to what she wears, she doesn’t care if her team thinks her choices are too edgy or “editorial.”

“F–k that narrative if I want to pop out and wear crazy s–t — which is what I want to wear,” she said.

Britain’s economic growth does not rely on the EU and we must ignore pro-Brussels voices ‘overstating’ the benefits of membership, economist warns as he urges Labour to take ‘full advantage’ of Brexit

Britain's economic growth 'does not depend on the EU', a leading economist has warned the new government. Dr Gerard Lyons has urged the Prime Minister to stand firm against calls to rejoin the single market, saying he should instead take 'full advantage' of Brexit. He argued that it was best to ignore pro-Brussels voices who
