Ooh la la!

Lady Gaga went full French chic for her performance of “Mon Truc en Plumes” at the 2024 Paris Olympics on July 26, and it’s very much giving can-can in the best way!

The Grammy-winning singer, 38, hit the stage along the River Seine wearing a full Dior Haute Couture look featuring a black feather jacket over a black satin bustier and panties. The pièce de résistance of the fashion moment was the black-and-pink skirt embroidered with feathers and sequins. She also wore a Dior headpiece, gloves and shoes.

At the end of her performance, the superstar ditched the skirt to reveal a second look, featuring a Dior black satin bustier and briefs with a white feather pompom which honored the Cabaret vibe of the performance. Gaga’s dancers were also dressed in Dior.

Even more French flair came from their pink feathered props that they danced with, as they came down the majestic staircase inspired by that of the Grand Palais.

An official Opening Ceremony press release provided to people shared that Gaga’s segment honored the “cabarets, music halls and revues of which France is the birthplace.”

Gaga glammed up further by wearing her platinum blonde hair slicked back off her face (with two tall feathers sticking out) and rocked vampy makeup — including a deep red lip and bleached brows — for the full French girl vibe.

Lady Gaga has already shown off her laidback French style while in Paris, leading up to her appearance at the Summer Games. On July 24, she was seen outside her hotel in relaxed-fit jeans and an oversize blazer. While the outfit was très unusual for her, the platinum blonde hairstyle and bold red lip was right on target for the “Poker Face” singer.

It’s rare for the Haus Labs founder to be wearing denim and it seems like the last time she dusted off her skinnies was at the 2023 Oscars, where she performed a powerful performance of Top Gun: Maverick track “Hold My Hand” in a black T-shirt and ripped jeans

Immediately after touching down in Paris on July 22, Lady Gaga sparked an internet frenzy that she would be performing at the Olympics. Gaga’s initial fan sightings came just days after the Olympics’ official social media accounts teased a special guest appearance for the Games’ opening ceremony in a  cryptic video posted on July 19. In the clip, the mystery figure is seated and disguised head to toe in shiny armor while ominous music plays in the background. They then buckle up their belts and pull the Olympic flag across their back like a cape as they walk off into the distance.

“You haven’t seen anything yet,” the video teased. “See you on 26 July.”
