Team USA is currently leading in the 2024 Paris Olympics, having netted 104 medals, of which 30 are gold, as of day 14.
California boasts the highest number of medal-winning Olympians, with 18 athletes from the state earning medals.
Florida follows with 13 medalists and claims the most gold medals among states, with six. Texas is next with 10 medal winners.
Meanwhile, 14 states have so far produced no medalists at all.
Not all athletes competing for Team USA were born in the country, including five medal winners.
Additionally, plenty of international athletes competing this year for other countries live or train in the U.S. For example, France’s Leon Marchand, who has claimed four gold medals—the most of any individual athlete—currently lives in Arizona.
Swimmer Torri Huske and gymnast Simone Biles are the individual US athletes with the most golds, with three each.
The U.S. also has the highest number of gold medals of any country, with 30 so far.
