DEXTER, Mich. — Cops arrested an illegal migrant earlier this month after the sicko allegedly sexually assaulted a child in Shelby, Mich.

The 32-year-old perp, Joel Quintana-Dominguez, was charged with three counts of sexual assault against a girl under 13 years old.

Quintana-Dominguez, who has been deported from the US before, was attempting to flee the country when local policy took him into custody on July 19.

Shelby Township Police Chief Robert Shelide said he’s “disgusted and sickened” by the charges, and “appalled” to hear of his past deportation and apparent reentry into the US.

Law enforcement worked fast to arrest the suspect, and are still investigating, Shelby Police told The Post.

“I think from the time we got notified, we had him in custody within 72 hours,” Shelide said.

But when police found the creep in a Macomb County trailer park, he was already packing his bags to make a run for it.

“It appeared that he was packed and his vehicle was in a manner that he was gonna be leaving,” Shelby Police Sergeant Kevin Bailey told The Post.

Quintana-Dominguez’s bond is set at $500,000.

A probable cause hearing is set for Aug. 1.

Another victim came forward this week, Shelide told The Post, alleging a series of more sickening sexual acts the. creep committed.

“Because of our release that we put out, another victim came in last night and described horrific acts that have occurred. And we’re investigating those now. And the person also informed us that there’s multiple other victims that we’re gonna be searching for,” said the Chief.

Shelby PD continues its investigation as new victims and abuse allegations have come to light.

“We just found this out last night. Like, literally, I got a text last night at 10 o’clock. So the investigators are working on it now,” Shelide said, adding that there are currently no known co-conspirators in these depraved acts.

Michigan’s Republican Senate nominee Mike Rogers was quick to express his outrage on X, where he called the crime “another horrific and entirely preventable tragedy.”

“Every single state in the union is a border state thanks to Border Czar Kamala Harris,” Rogers continued. “We must secure the border and prevent more tragedies like this in our communities.”

Rogers doubled down on his critiques in an interview with The Post.

“The victims of these crimes are families who are doing all the right things. And we’re letting these illegals have the run of the show. These people are getting up every day, putting their kids on the bus, trying to earn a living,” Rogers said.

“They’ve been exposed to all of this by what I argue is an open and dangerous border, and it’s gonna get more dangerous.”

The problem, Rogers told The Post, is that illegal immigrants are essentially untraceable in the US.

“You don’t know how many unsolved sexual assaults there are where these guys are just roaming around the country and you can’t really find them. They’re not tethered to anything that’s really traceable… If you want to hide in the country, you can hide in the country.”

Rogers, a former FBI agent, says that closing the border is the ultimate solution to preventing crimes at the hands of illegal migrants.

“’ Remain in Mexico‘ has to happen yesterday. Close the border. Legal immigration only until we can get a hand on the crime wave sweeping America. I would refocus the FBI on identifying these people” Rogers said.

Last February, Senate Republicans rejected a border policy proposal, arguing that it was not thorough enough and earmarked funds to unrelated issues.

Border policy remains one of the most important issues of the election, which Republicans are exploiting by calling out Harris’ role as a failed Border Czar.
