Vice President Kamala Harris’ newly hired senior campaign adviser has a long history of online posts mocking women and gay people.

Kamau Marshall, who was hired by the Harris campaign earlier this week, issued an apology in 2020 for his offensive posts and in has reportedly undertaken a digital purge in recent days.

“Even though I like a power woman…I need her to know her place…Meaning I where [sic] the #pants…ight,” Marshall tweeted on Dec. 24, 2011.

In another 2011 post on what is now known as X, he wrote, “As long as my woman looks good & turns me on..she pretty much can have whatever she wants from me.”

“Are all women crazy???? Lol no offense ijs [I’m just saying],” Marshall tweeted in 2012.

Later that year, he argued that “Nice guys finish last because they make sure their girl comes first.”

Then, in August of 2013, Marshall tweeted that it was “unattractive when a girl doesn’t act classy & does not know how to control her feelings.”

That post followed this 2012 Twitter declaration: “I only look & talk to CLASSY Women.”

Fox News first reported on Marshall’s questionable tweets back in 2020, noting that he subsequently deleted many of the offensive posts.

The social media analytics website Social Blade shows that Marshall has deleted more than 2,200 tweets since Tuesday.

Fox News noted that Marshall also frequently used a gay slur in social media posts.

“Wood wakes everybody up…no homo but to many memories #hazing is bad smdh lmao,” he wrote in 2010.

The Harris campaign adviser also suggested that men who spend a lot of time around women want to be female

“Bro if u see a guy around women all day more than likely he wants to be 1 or he is very fem #Imjustsaying,”  Marshall tweeted.

His new boss also seemingly drew his ire back in 2019, after a Democratic primary debate, leading Marshall to tweet, “Dear Black people: Don’t be black when it’s convenient. Be black 3365/24-7. Period.  Sincerely, a black man.”

The post was highlighted by a reporter from The Atlantic at the time and then deleted by Marshall.

The career communications strategist previously served as Joe Biden’s strategic communications director in 2020 and as a senior adviser to Education Secretary Miguel Cardona.

“As someone who values and respects women, it has never been or will ever be my intent to disrespect women. Period,” Marshall said in an apology issued in 2020, according to Fox News.

“However, I sincerely apologize to those who could have misread it or don’t know me personally and who it may have offended.”

The Post has reached out to the Harris campaign for comment.
