Shocking new video clips show the moment pro-Palestine hooligans chant ‘Heil Hitler’ while making Nazi salutes during Israel’s football match against Paraguay at the Paris Olympics.

Footage of the incident shows a large group of male spectators frantically waving Palestinian flags while booing Israeli players as they sing the national anthem.

In unison the men can be heard chanting ‘Heil Hitler’ while making the anti-Semitic gesture and clapping their hands.

The same protesters were also pictured holding a large black and white banner stating ‘Genocide Olympics’ before they were escorted from the stadium by security.

This appalling abuse comes days after the Palestinian Football Association urged the International Olympic Committee to ban Israel from this year’s games.

Responding to the incident, a spokesperson for the Paris Olympics said: ‘Paris 2024 strongly condemns these acts.

‘A complaint has been lodged by Paris 2024, which is at the disposal of the authorities to assist with the investigation.’

The French police have also opened an investigation into the incident.

They are also looking into death threats that have been made against three Israeli athletes.

In one shocking case, Rhythmic gymnast Shani Bakanov was sent a letter stating: ‘You are not invited to the Olympic Games unless you are prepared to deal with something that is 10 times worse than September 1972,’ according to Israeli news website Y-Net.

During the 1972 Munich Olympics Palestinian terrorists murdered two Israeli athletes and took nine others hostage.

All nine hostages were subsequently killed in a failed rescue mission.

Israeli swimmer Meiron Amir Cheruti, was also sent a text message in broken Hebrew inviting him to his own funeral listing his date of death as July 27, 2024.

The message also included a link with supposed directions to the location of his funeral.

Meanwhile 15 Israeli athletes were sent an email from a group calling themselves Régimente Groupe Union Défense [the People’s Defense Organisation] warning them they ‘intend to harm any Israeli presence during the Paris 2024 Olympics’.

According to The Times of Israel the letter stated: ‘You’re not invited to Paris 2024. If you come, take into account that we intend to repeat the events of Munich 1972.

‘You will be awaiting attack at every moment — in the airport, the hotel, and the streets which belong only to us.

‘Even a wave of arrests against our organisation won’t stop us from seeing our plan through. Prepare for the intifada!’

Israel has since accused Iran of being behind some of the cyber-attacks targeted against Israeli athletes.

A spokesperson for Campaign Against Antisemitism stated: ‘When people think of the Olympics, they think of words like ‘honour’, ‘sportsmanship’ and ‘unity’.

‘Antisemitism’ should not be on that list, and yet so far at Paris 2024 there have been reports of death threats and anti-Semitic slogans hurled at Israeli competitors, staff, and fans.

‘Organisers said that during the men’s football match between Israel and Paraguay, there was a banner bearing a ‘political message’ and anti-Semitic gestures.

‘The Olympics is about displaying the best our countries have to offer. This year, it has brought out the worst.’

It comes after Israel deployed secret agents to guard athletes before the Games began on Friday, amid a concerning surge in threats of anti-Semitic violence across Europe.

Armed Shin Bet operatives are providing security for around 88 Israeli athletes and their staff but not every person will have their own bodyguard, according to Israel’s minister of culture.

Miki Zohar told The Telegraph that they had been planning the largest-ever security operation for Israeli athletes for over a year, while doubling the team’s security budget.

Former Shin Bet officer, Lior Akerman, also revealed to the newspaper that the agents are ‘equipped with weapons and technologies’ and will also benefit from the assistance of local security and police forces.

France is considered a ‘category 2’ country, meaning he Israeli government believes it is a ‘potential threat’ for Israelis.
