Video shows the moment a tradesman smashed a motorist’s car window with a hammer in a shocking road rage incident.
The incident unfolded yesterday in the middle of a London junction with the driver of the BMW appearing to hit a tradesman who then retaliated.
Dashcam footage was shared to social media with the caption: ‘This is why you never argue with a tradesman in traffic in London.’
The video shows the driver of a BMW coming to a stop in the road, seemingly annoyed by the tradesman’s driving, although the exact cause of the confrontation is not clear.

The motorist desperately tries to get back into his car and flee the scene but isn’t quick enough to escape
The motorist can be seen getting out of his car and grabbing a backpack from the boot.
He then runs over to the tradesman’s van where the two appear to have an argument.
Then the BMW driver reaches into his bag and strikes the unsuspecting tradesman.
The motorist sprints back to his car before the tradesman can lash out.
However, the tradesman then opens his van door and rifles around inside, searching for a tool.
Moments later, he can be seen sprinting over to the stopped BMW with a hammer in his hand.
The BMW driver ran over to the tradesman and apparently hit him after removing a bag from the car’s boot
The motorist desperately tries to get back into his car and flee the scene but isn’t quick enough to escape.
The tradesman comes flying into the shot, smashing his hammer into the rear-window of the BMW and completely shattering it.
He then strikes the window again, smashing the leftover glass and scaring the motorist who tries to speed off to escape the tradesman’s wrath.
The BMW lurches forward an inch or two and the tradesman turns to walk away back to his van.
The video has since received hundreds of likes and comments from social media users, stunned by the tradesman’s rage.
One user commented: ‘I don’t get it. What did he put in the guy’s van?’
Another replied: ‘Nothing, he lumped him over the skull with a hammer, put the hammer back in his bag and then into his own boot.’
