Taylor Swift has called upon her millions of fans around the world to go see Deadpool & Wolverine, which releases in theaters today, July 26. In a post to her Stories on Instagram, Swift sung the praises of the film and lauded one of her best friends for all their hard work to make it happen.

“Over the past few years I have watched one of my best friends on this planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film. He’s created the best work of his life. “This film feels like an actual joy portal, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich. I don’t know how he did it,” she wrote.

One would naturally assumed Swift is talking about her longtime friend, Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds, but continued the note, saying, “But that’s just Hugh for you!”

She also threw in a line for Reynolds, saying, “Shout out to Wade Wilson, aka my godkids’ sperm donor!”

All of this is a playful joke, of course, riffing on the banter that Reynolds and Jackman are known for. She added in her photo, “These other randoms crashed the photo and we were too polite to ask them to leave.” She’s featured in the photo with Reynolds, Blake Lively, and director Shawn Levy.

Swift also included a link in her message to buy tickets to Deadpool & Wolverine. The film may not need any extra help to be a huge success at the box office, though, as it’s expected to smash records and become the highest-grossing R-rated movie for its opening weekend.

For a long time, many believed Swift might have a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine. The filmmakers initially let these rumors swirl, but have since shut them down. Reynolds did, however, say he thinks Swift would make a great Deadpool if he ever hangs up the suit.

Deadpool & Wolverine is in theaters now. GameSpot’s Deadpool & Wolverine review scored the movie a 4/10 and the aggregate score on GameSpot sister site Metacritic is 56. Audiences, however, are enjoying the film a lot more. The film has an 8.2/10 user score on Metacritic and 97% on Rotten Tomatoes.
