According to a press release, the upcoming game will be a 2D side-scrolling platformer featuring various puzzles. It will also feature “50 unique levels” in five different worlds. Dav Pilkey has worked on various children’s books, which include the Captain Underpants series, Dragon, Dumb Bunnies, Ricky Ricotta’s Mighty Robot series, and more. Interestingly enough, Dog Man first appeared in Captain Underpants, but once the series ended, Dog Man became a spin-off series spawning several popular sequels.
