Joe Buck and Michelle Beisner-Buck have been married since 2014.

They were first introduced by a colleague of Michelle’s in late 2012. By the time the 2013 Super Bowl came around, Joe and Michelle were a couple. The pair got married in 2014 and later welcomed their twin sons, Wyatt and Blake, in 2018.

“Being able to be with Joe, just the four of us hanging out together, that to me is a little slice of heaven that I don’t take for granted,” she wrote in an op-ed for ESPN about their family.

Joe, a sports commentator for ESPN, was previously married to Ann Archambault Buck, with whom he shares daughters Trudy and Natalie Buck. The former couple wed in 1993 and divorced in 2011.

So, who is Joe Buck’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Michelle Beisner-Buck and her relationship with the sports personality.

She’s a reporter

In 2006, Michelle moved to Los Angeles to pursue sports journalism. At first, she began working as a television co-host for The Russo and Steele Automotive Auctions and covering the Champ Car World Series.

Later that same year, she landed at the NFL Network as a field reporter and appeared on several programs and specials, like GameDay Morning, NFL Total Access and NFL Fantasy Live. Michelle conducted original reporting as well, securing interviews with major athletes, including Russell Wilson and Peyton Manning, among others.

In 2014, Michelle joined ESPN as a features reporter. The Emmy Award-winning personality’s work has been seen on Sunday NFL Countdown and Monday Night Countdown. She told  Chargers.com that she believes being able to produce, edit, write and host is the key to her success.

Speaking of how she approaches her interviews, she said, “That person that you are interviewing has to be the most important person you’ve ever sat with. You have to make them feel that way. You have to be committed from start to finish in making sure that you are allowing them to tell their best story.”

She’s a former NFL cheerleader

Prior to becoming a sports reporter, Michelle was a Denver Broncos cheerleader. She spent six years on the professional NFL cheerleading team from 1997 to 2003, with four of the years as team captain. Among her career highlights were her performances at the 1998 Super Bowl and 1999 Pro Bowl as the team’s representative.

“It’s truly been an honor for me to be able to say that I was an NFL cheerleader,” she told Mile High Sports in December 2012. “It was the greatest six plus years of my life. It made me accountable. It made me respectful. It’s humbled me. It made me a better woman, a better person.”

Michelle continued: “For me it was one of my greatest joys. I enjoyed breaking down those walls, showing that there was more to me than what people just thought of NFL cheerleaders. There is substance, depth, intelligence and charisma.”

Michelle’s then-NFL Network colleague Rich Eisen introduced her to Joe in the fall of 2012. During a 2016 interview with The Ringer, Eisen told the outlet he called Michelle and explained that someone in his booth wanted her phone number. She had a boyfriend at the time but was curious about the mystery person.

She began rattling off potential broadcaster names before, ironically, telling him, “Please don’t say it’s Joe Buck.” Michelle later explained that her hesitation stemmed from Buck’s National Car Rental commercial, in which he came across as “smug and arrogant” to her. After Eisen made the connection, Joe “gently pushed the point himself” by texting her, “Still live with that boyfriend of yours? Well, that’s dumb.”

Michelle eventually ended things with her boyfriend and later began dating Joe around the time of the 2013 Super Bowl. She revealed that her initial impression of him was wrong, saying that her now-husband is “the furthest thing from arrogant or smug that any human being could be. I mean, the complete and opposite end of the spectrum.”

Joe got tattoos to impress her

Joe really wanted to win Michelle over when they began dating. Just as they were getting to know each other, Michelle made a comment that she loved men with tattoos. Although he did not have any ink, he ended up getting two tattoos on his biceps.

“When I saw them, I was like, ‘Wow, Joe, really?’ ” actor Paul Rudd, a childhood friend, recalled to The Ringer. “I didn’t see that coming.”

As for the tattoos, Joe got the messages, “So What?” and “Bastante,” which translates to “enough” in Spanish. The play-by-play announcer shared that both serve as “reminders” to himself.

“I think he would like to be able to live by those words,” Michelle added. “Enough of the b——-.”

After Joe popped the question to Michelle in August 2013, the couple tied the knot in a beachside wedding on April 12, 2014. The pair exchanged vows in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in front of numerous celebrities and sports stars, including Dallas Cowboys legends Tony Romo, Troy Aikman and Jerry Jones.

In April 2024, Michelle and Joe celebrated 10 years of marriage.

“It feels like @boejuck and I have been together for lifetimes. I’m not sure what that means, but I believe our souls were connected long before we were actually together,” the mom of two wrote on Instagram in honor of the milestone. “I love you Joe. More today than yesterday. Always. Against All.”

In March 2022, Michelle announced on Instagram that her husband was joining the ESPN NFL team as an on-air reporter. She thanked Fox for his nearly 30 years with the network and called the move a “game changer.”

“I love you so much @boejuck Insanely proud and excited that you and @troyaikman are going to be the new voices of Monday Night Football!!!!,” she captioned a photo of him. “Holy S%#T – cannot believe that Joe and I get to share the same night of work together. A new chapter for all of us.”

In October 2023, Michelle and Joe co-hosted the first hour of Monday Night Countdown together after sportscaster Scott Van Pelt lost his voice.

“That’s probably the most time we’ve spent together in a long time,” she later joked.

On April 26, 2018, Michelle became a mother to twin boys, Wyatt Joseph and Blake Andrew. They were born one day after Joe’s 49th birthday.

“We felt so blessed — they are just healthy, happy boys. You can’t ask for anything more than that,” she wrote in an op-ed for ESPN.

Michelle also revealed that she underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF) to conceive.

“But it took us a long time to get to this point. We went through IVF, and I can tell you there is not much that’s more financially, emotionally, physically taxing than in vitro fertilization,” she wrote. “It is a very grueling, gnarly process. But after three total rounds, Joe and I found out we were going to have two sweet little miraculous babies.”

In an Instagram post for Father’s Day 2018, Michelle noted that there is “literally no one better in the ‘Dad Department,’ ” than Joe.

“To watch the kind of father you are to @nattiebuck @trudybuck #wyattjosephbuck & #blakeandrewbuck has been the greatest gift, and joy to see,” she added. “Thank you for laughing, loving, protecting and parenting the right way, every day. So in love with you. My best friend. My perfect partner.”
