It’s time for the biggest party of the summer. WWE’s PLE Summerslam returns on Saturday, August 3 via the streaming service Peacock. Summerslam is one of WWE’s “Big Five” events, which also includes Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Money in the Bank, and Survivor Series.

This year’s event will take place at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. As of this writing, there are seven matches on the card–which is two more than other PLEs have had most of this year. This will be one of the final Summerslams that will take place on one night. Starting in 2026, Summerslam will be a two-night event, much like how Wrestlemania has become a two-night experience.

There are a lot of major storylines coming to a head at this show. Are you wondering who is going to get custody of Dominik Mysterio, again? Rhea Ripley is off for revenge after Liv Morgan tried to seduce Dirty Dom. The women will battle each other for Morgan’s Women’s World Championship. In the past weeks, tensions have risen between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk, so the two will work out the issues at Summerslam; however, there’s a caveat. Seth “Freakin'” Rollins will be the special guest referee, and we’re sure his referee outfit will be magnificent.

There are many people who may be intrigued about the upcoming event–mainly because WWE’s programming has become much better this past year–so if you’re a newer fan to wrestling, welcome to the fun. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming PLE, along with some predictions for a few matches.

How to watch Money in the Bank:

If you want to visit the biggest party of the summer from the comfort of your own couch, then you’ll have to subscribe to Peacock, which includes other WWE live events and costs $6 a month. There’s also the $12-a-month option, which allows you to download content for offline viewing and watch movies or TV shows without ads. If you’re a premium subscriber, what you’ll get during WWE PLEs instead of commercials are video recaps of the various feuds leading into matches.

There are multiple ways to watch Peacock. Aside from watching it on mobile devices and PC, you can stream the service on Amazon Fire devices, Android TV, Apple TV, LG Smart TVs, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Roku, Samsung Smart TVs, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xfinity, and more.

Like most WWE PLE events, there will be a Kickoff Show on Peacock and WWE’s YouTube, which you can stream for free. It primarily features a panel of talking heads giving their predictions for the upcoming PLE, along with a couple of interviews. However, if you’re not caught up on current storylines, the Kickoff Show is the perfect place to be caught up on what led up to the matches on the card. Speaking of the card…

Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa

Smackdown fans have been waiting for this one, since the new Bloodline has dominated the blue brand. Rhodes is the hero of this story, so of course, he’s going to take on the villains. Here’s where things may change. It will be a long, tough battle. The Bloodline will get involved. The entire group will come down and beat up Rhodes, giving him the win. However, Roman Reigns will come to the ring in order to save Rhodes from the new Bloodline. This will lead to a Survivor Series WarGames match with the new Bloodline vs. Rhodes, Reigns, and whoever else joins that team.

Winner: Rhodes by DQ

Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley

For months, Morgan has been trying to “woo” Dirty Dom Mysterio, Ripley’s love interest for quite a while. Ripley has been out for a month–probably because she got real-life married to AEW’s Buddy Murphy (Congratulations)–so when Ripley returned, she had her sights set on Morgan. The match itself is going to be exceptionally brutal and not just because of her entrance music. Ripley will take all her rage out on Morgan, and it will get to a point where Mysterio will feel bad for Morgan and cause a distraction for Ripley–and Morgan wins, continuing this love triangle. I know there’s a chance Mysterio could turn on Ripley, but I just want “Mami” and “Papi” to be together forever.

Winner: Morgan

Sometimes, history turns not on huge, epochal forces but on momentary twists of fate. Had Donald Trump not shifted his head by a few degrees the instant before the first shot was fired at a rally on July 13, he would have been killed — and events in the US could have taken a very
