MLB Network has offered baseball lovers everything they could desire since it launched in 2009. And now, it has never been easier to enjoy the Emmy Award-winning network, because beginning today, MLB Network is available directly to consumers in the United States.

Fans can now stream select live out-of-market games, award-winning studio shows, entertaining original content and more. Plus, with the playoff races heating up and the July 30 Trade Deadline fast approaching, MLB Network is a must-have for every baseball enthusiast right now.

“As the way viewers consume content continues to evolve, we are excited for baseball fans to have this new option to experience MLB Network through direct-to-consumer streaming,” MLB Network president Bill Morningstar said. “Going this direction allows us to significantly expand our reach to fans and gives them more choices on how they want to watch the Network’s Emmy Award-winning coverage.”

Fans will be able to access MLB Network in a few different ways. There is a standalone option for $5.99 per month, or the MLB Network + At Bat bundle for just one dollar more at $6.99 per month. The MLB Network + At Bat subscriptions provides everything MLB Network has to offer, as well as what’s included with an MLB At Bat subscription: live game audio for all 30 MLB teams, live Minor League Baseball games and access to MLB Big Inning, which serves up live look-ins, highlights and the best action from around the league every day.

Current and future MLB.TV paid subscribers can stream MLB Network for the remainder of this season at no additional cost. And for the 10th consecutive year, fans who receive MLB Network from a participating pay-TV partner can watch via an authenticated stream. (Viewers will be subject to local blackouts for live games on MLB Network and provided with alternate programming.)

MLB Network, the recipient of 42 national Sports Emmy Awards, is home to the most extensive baseball coverage and analysis available anywhere. Start streaming it today.

With his outlandish claims of being able to cure the sick, it is little wonder Hongchi Xiao attracted a devoted band of desperately ill people to his 'slapping' workshops. The 61-year-old's cheerful demeanour and soft voice gave the impression of a humble do-gooder. The Chinese healer's motivation, he said, was to rid the world of
